How To Leave A Snapchat Voice Message Using The Fresh Features From Snapchat Talk Two.0
The glory of Snapchat Talk Two.0 seemingly knows no bounds, what with its six (count ’em, six!) killer fresh features. And since those features include the capability to send audio "notes," you’re very likely wondering how to leave a Snapchat voice message. Since I’ve been spamming my friends with inane messages all morning — perhaps you should have Snapped back sooner, no? — I’ll walk you through the process.В
Very first things very first: You need to make sure you actually have the latest Snapchat update. If you don’t, you won’t be privy to the string of joy little icons that permit you to take utter advantage of Snapchat Talk Two.0’s fresh features. Not sure how to go about getting Talk Two.0? Don’t feel bad; I certainly wasn’t either. Fortunately, it’s pretty effortless stuff. To update the Snapchat app, you just need to go into the App Store on your phone, click the button in the bottom right corner for Updates, scroll down until you see Snapchat, and click it. Alternately, this may entailВ simply doing a search for the app in your app store and clicking the Update button.В Either way, you’ll know it worked if the glorious string of fresh option icons show up the next time you log into a private talk.
OK, so moving on to the main event. You see the little movie and phone icons directly above this sentence? Those are your implements for leaving a "note." If you want to send a voice message, you simply press and hold the phone icon while you leave your message. If it isn’t going the way you want it to, quickly haul it into that little center circle, which will have an "x" in it. The process is exactly the same for sending a movie message, with the exception of pressing and holding the movie camera icon as opposed to the phone handset icon. Get it? I chose to send an audio message, largely because I’m under-caffeinated and presently look like an extra on the set of The Walking Dead. If you’re wondering what the message said, it was something along the lines of, "You better snap me back, or I’ll tell everyone about that time you did that thing that was horribly embarrassing." You know, something to that effect. (It’s very likely worth mentioning that I’m snapping my sister at the moment.) You’ll notice a little bubble popped into the talk area displaying my audio note. If you leave a movie message, the bubble will be packed with an pic of your head, presumably. But word to the wise: You’ll need to tell your friends to all make sure they’ve updated as well, lest you get a message like this .
Slack, sis. So before you go creating 30-second masterpieces of voice message mastery, recall that they will be wasted if your friends aren’t hip to the update. Basically, Snapchat Talk Two.0 is fresh #squadgoals. Other than that, you’re good to go, my friends. Snap responsibly!В
