The update will permit Snapchats’ millions of users to movie and voice talk friends with a touch of a button instead of the previous shove and wait method. Users can also send movie and brief audio notes, all of which can includes fresh Snapchat stickers.

"We want Talk to be the best way to communicate — 2nd only to stringing up out face-to-face," the company said via a blog post.

The update launched today. The company is sending a message from @teamsnapchat that will explain the switches but here’s an overview:

Live movie – The update will permit users to initiate audio or movie calls directly from talk, even if the other user isn’t on talk. If you aren’t in talk and someone is calling, you will get a notification. If you are in talk, you can opt to overlook the call, join via movie or reaction it without the camera on. Movie talks are interactive, meaning you will be able to exchange texts while on a movie call.

Auto advance – No more clicking from one story to another to observe someone’s Snapchats. The fresh auto advance feature will permit users to observe all talks without having to click from one to another. When one completes, the next will begin. You can swipe to skip ahead or pull down to exit if you’re in the feature.

Audio and movie notes – The update will permit users to share a ten 2nd movie and voice clips within a talk, sort of an in-chat voice mail system. As with other text and photo messages exchanged within talk, the notes vanish once you leave unless you’ve saved them. To send a note, press and hold the camera or phone icon.

Stickers – If you want to send your Snapchat friends an photo of a sloth vomiting a rainbow, take heart. The fresh update will permit you to add one of as many as two hundred stickers in any feature. You can access the stickers by tapping on the menu located under the smiley face icon and searching for keywords.
